1. Soon a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) also appeared on the scene.

2. Heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area and the experts of BDS (Bomb Disposal Squad) collected pieces of the bomb for examination.

4. As per the prescribed annual fee structure, the private deemed universities and private unaided institutions should charge Rs 40,000 for bachelor and master programmes in engineering, technology, architecture; Rs 50,000 for MBA; Rs one lakh for BDS and Rs 1.3 lakh for MBBS, Md, MDS and MS.

Minister for Minorities Welfare Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the four percent quota for 15 identified groups of Muslims would, in effect, cover 85 percent of the Muslim population in the state «except Syeds, Mughals, Pathans and other sections which are equivalent to upper castes among the Hindus (Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Reddis, Kammas etc).» The state government has directed the higher education, technical education and medical education departments to take necessary steps for provision of reservation for 15 groups of Muslims in professional courses such as BE, MBA, MCA, MBBS, BDS etc.
